Open call: “Connections” - Here, There & Everywhere. A collective global mail-art exhibition.
Fox Yard Studio is pleased to announce our International Postcard Show, to be held in October 2026.
We invite artists from across the world to participate in “CONNECTIONS,” an opportunity for everyone—artists at all levels, amateurs and professionals alike—to join a global community and exhibit their work in one physical venue at Fox Yard Studio.
Location: 6 Old Fox Yard, Stowmarket, Suffolk Ip14 1AB, UK
Format Size: Restricted to small, flat dimensions-like postcards. Maximum size: 4 inches by 6 inches / 10.5cm by 15cm.
Mediums: We accept all mediums, including painting, print, photography, textiles, mixed media, etc.
Participation fee: £17 for up to three works.
Dates:
Submission deadline: 27th September 2026, 11.59 pm.
Announcement: By 29th September, notification by email
Exhibition dates: 9th to 23rd October 2026.
Private view: Friday, 9th October, 6pm to 7:30 pm.
Please make sure that you have read through the submission's guidelines and rules properly before submitting your work.
Acceptance into the exhibition:
Artists are responsible for mailing their works to us by using reliable couriers to ensure timely delivery.
All postcards will be available for sale, no limit on the artist selling price.
Unsold works will be returned to artists.
Costs:
£17 for up to three postcards.
As well as having a physical presence, artworks will be featured online.
Who:
Artists at all levels - beginners and professionals. All media types are welcome.
Applicants are not required to be local. All works are to be flat, presentable, and delivered under the responsibility of each artist before the show starts.

The theme is open to interpretation.
We offer you a platform to showcase, promote and sell your artworks via our art gallery and our Instagram via Art Magnitude.
There is a 10% commission on Sales for physical works.
After the show has ended, we will return your unsold postcards works to you by post.
Artists are responsible for all postage and tax fees incurred in delivery and return of accepted artwork.
Fox Yard Studio - Art Gallery provides a unique and inspiring space for artists to showcase their work.
Located in a historic building dating back to the 16th century, our gallery is committed to fostering a vibrant arts community. We form part of the Design Quarter of Stowmarket, which includes the Modece Architects, the Fred’s Vinyl bar and the artist studios The Design Rooms. These creative spaces are all integral components of the Old Fox Yard and the social life of Stowmarket.

After paying for the participation fee, please submit images of the postcards by email to info@foxyardstudio.art.
Please indicate the name of the Open Call “CONNECTIONS” in the subject line. We will send you more information in regards to mailing the postcards to us.
How to prepare your files for submission:
File names:
Submitted Images must named appropriately.
Example:
The image titled ‘The Perfect Moment by the artist Jack Right’ would have this file name: ‘Right_ThePerfectMoment.jpg’;
The second untitled image by the artist Jack Right: ‘Right_Untitled_2.jpg’.
In the body of your submission e-mail please include:
Your full name (and artist name if required);
Your city and country;
Your website address (if you have one);
Social media account handles (e.g. for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or other):
Titles of all included images with the corresponding file names, with medium, year, selling price. Please ensure you NAME YOUR IMAGES THE SAME AS YOU WRITE THEM IN THE EMAIL. Example below:

Please send clear photos of your postcards. If the file sizes are too big for email, please use www.wetransfer.com to send them, ensuring you send all the relevant information along with this.
